Making a leather collar: give shape to your falls

Gather all of your finest leather scraps, and start preparing your necklace. To do this, take different round templates of several sizes, and draw circles on the back of your scraps. Depending on the length you want to give your necklace, draw between 50 and 150 circles. To speed up the work, you can also mix your necklace with other materials such as wood or pearls. Cut out and then collect the new scraps to make even smaller circles.

Making a leather collar: mounting the jewel

Once your rounds of leather have been cut, place them on a wooden board, and pierce them using a nail and a hammer. To go faster, you can stack several. Then, as with pearls, slide your circles one by one on your thread, achieving a size gradient. All you have to do is put a special necklace tie at the two ends of your wire. A little fantasy in your life, with Maud Villaret. Watch the video Making a necklace with scraps of leather on Minutefacile.com. Produced by Minute Facile.
